Locked pages

Structure tree - locked

Locked pages are pages that don't allow modifications to certain "Page info" fields (mainly "Name", "Template" and "More-options"). These pages usually have special functionality such as the Search page and unpublishing such pages might cause errors on the site.

On some locked pages you are still able to add content and the template positions have been enabled.

Root page

Structure tree - root

Page root is the landing page on your website and it's usually Frontpage/Home. You might have more than one site root to support localization or different languages.

Special locations

Not all pages in the structure tree represent an actual public page or url on the site.

Archive

Structure tree - Archive

Archive is for storing pages. Archiving is useful if you're restructuring your page hierarchy or otherwise want to keep previous pages and content stored somewhere. You can archive a page by clicking "Archive" in the Page info.

You can restore archived pages back to a desired location in the structure tree.

Trashcan

Structure tree - trashcan

If you want to delete a page you can press "Delete" on the page info. All the deleted pages with their child pages will end up in the trashcan.

In the trashcan you can view these deleted pages and decide to restore, archive or delete pages permanently.

PLEASE NOTE: Trashcan is usually scheduled to be emptied periodically. All pages in the trashcan will be automatically deleted permanently.
