In "Version" you can create different versions of the page and select which is active. Only one version can be active at any given time.
Using page versions is a nifty way to show multiple changes on your page all at once.
Lets say that you have a Christmas campaign idea for your front page with new banners and content. Instead of changing all the elements one by one you can:
- Click the "Copy version" button to create a copy of your current front page
- Edit the new version: Change the banners to your new Christmas banners and edit/remove/add any content you would like to be shown in your new Christmas front page
- When you are ready just select the version you would like to publish and click "Activate"
- Behold! Your new Christmas front page is now active immediately
You can also schedule your versions to activate or unactive themselves on any given time with the Scheduler. (See Scheduling)
